The Final Sunday Night Lewis Club: Live Stream of WHAT LIES TANGLED on Twitch, SUNDAY 22nd NOVEMBER 2020; 8pm BST. Watch and Chat.

Hello fellow Morsonians, Lewisians and Endeavourists. I hope you and your families are well physically as well as mentally.

Sadly, we have reached the final Sunday Night Lewis Club. For that reason I thought the photoshop pic should be a little melancholy. But we have four Sunday Night Morse Clubs to look forward to and then in January 2021 we will see the start of the Sunday Night Endeavour Club.

I have updated the times below in correspondence to the clocks going back for the USA, Canada and elsewhere.

Join me and many others at https://www.twitch.tv/morselewisendeavour

I hope to see many of you there. Bring your favourite drink and snack.

After spending 18 months watching and re watching the Lewis series for my book I still love this series and many of the episodes are some of my favourites in the Morse Universe. Many of the episodes are my ‘comfort’ episodes’ (for a list of my ‘comfort’ episodes click HERE to read my post about them).

And last but not least please think about buying my book on the Lewis TV series. It is available in paperback and a Kindle version on Amazon..

VERY IMPORTANT: For all those outside the UK you should be aware that on Sunday the UK BST will end and we will be on GMT. This means that the clocks went back one hour. I will adjust the times on Sunday.

You don’t have to join Twitch to watch but if you do join (it’s free) it has only the minimal amount of signing up protocol to go through and this will allow you to chat to me and everybody else.

Not only can you enjoy watching the episode but you can chat (via text box) with other Lewis fans. Some people who have watched the episodes on the live stream have said that they have not only learned more about the episodes but come to appreciate episodes they had previously disliked.

Please join me and many others to watch this great episode on the social media platform, (one of the biggest in the world) TWITCH and watch the episode on a live stream. Twitch is FREE to join and FREE to watch.

For those not in the know in regard to Twitch, when I write ‘watch and chat’ the chat is via a text window so there is no actual talking over the episode.

To ‘chat’ (this means to type in the chat window that runs alongside the video) you need to register but that is all rather simple. It’s only a matter of choosing a screen name and entering your email address.

So, over the next weeks I am hoping to live stream all 33 of the Lewis episodes on Twitch. Twitch is one of the biggest social media sites in the world which allows people to live stream their various activities.

I would like to say a huge thank you to those who have become Patrons of the site and also a huge thank you to those who have made donations. What do I mean by Patrons?

What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

  1. Thanks Chris, but confused: why are there four Sunday Morse Clubs and then in January we start Sunday Endeavour Clubs? What are the four, and why? Not complaining, just trying to understand. Thank you kindly

    1. Hi Maria. Tomorrow night sees the end of the Lewis series stream. I didn’t want to start the Endeavour series immediately as I thought it would be better to start in the New Year so the Endeavour stream doesn’t get interrupted by Christmas and New Year celebrations etc. So, to fill the gap between now and January I decided to stream four of my favourite Morse episodes. The four episodes I will be streaming are 29th November – Dead on Time. 6th December – Second Time Around. 13th December – Masonic Mysteries. And finally, 20th December – The Way Through the Woods.

  2. Hi Chris. I was very much looking forward to watching the final Lewis episode with you all, tonight. However, I’m not sure, if I will be able to now. There is still a chance it could be possible, but I will be late joining you all on the live stream. Hopefully, I will catch some of tonight’s programme, but I cannot be absolutely certain. HappilIy, I can confirm, I will be free for Tuesday evening’s “Inspecting Lewis” discussion.

I also thought it would be worth my while to mention, that Clare Holman has been interviewed this morning on Alan Titchmarsh’s programme, on ITV, which is called “Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh”. I haven’t seen it yet, but I have recorded it. I’ve rarely seen her interviewed on television before, and I wonder if she regrets choosing DI Robert Lewis, as opposed to a certain Chris Sullivan!!!

That is all for now, thanks Chris, and take care.

    1. See you Tuesday James. I also recorded the interview with Clare Holman and hope to get it up on my website soon.

  3. I’ve noticed a silly typing error I made above. For some reason, I must have held the “l” on the keypad for too long. There is only one “l” in “Happily”, and I spelt it accidentally with two, sorry about that.

  4. I trust that The Final Sunday Night Lewis Club will be a huge success. Might I suggest that when you start to stream ENDEAVOUR episodes you call it The Sunday Night Endeavour. It has a nice ring to it.

    1. I was going to stick with the Sunday Night Endeavour Club but I like it without the ‘club’ part.

  5. Oh, James, you will be missed today, as you are a valued contributor to our Lewis watching. I look forward to to hearing, or should I say reading, your insights from Clare Holman’s interview and many episode tangent storylines.
    Until Tuesday,
    Carolyn

    1. Hi Carolyn. Thanks for your very kind words. Naturally, I was bitterly disappointed to have missed last night’s final ever Lewis episode with you all, and I apologize for that. I trust that you all enjoyed it, although undoubtedly, it must have been slightly emotional as well. I look forward to tomorrow night’s “Inspecting Lewis” discussion, and I hope to “see” you then Carolyn. Goodbye for now, and all the best.

  6. Haven’t had a chance to watch the last couple of live stream of Lewis but really looking forward to the 4 Morse streams.
