PART ONE

PART TWO

Author: Chris Sullivan

Up until a few years ago I was my mum's full time carer. She died last year, 2020, of Covid. I am now about to start my third year year at Edinburgh University studying for a second degree this one being English Literature. My other degree is in Ecological Science. At the moment I am attempting to write a novel.

  1. Love it! Thank you, Christopher. Being up there in age, I always quote one from Neverland, “Less ahead than behind.” Oh and one more I can think of, “The creakiest gate hangs the longest.” Fred: … “Either I am a proper copper or I am nothing.”

  2. One of my absolute favorites is from Muse – “A bunch of middle age academics prancing around in pretty waistcoats calling each other daft names, I’ve more time for the Tufty Club.” When the other man says, “I beg your pardon.” Thursday says, “You can beg my fat ass. Grow up, you’re too old for the dressing up box.” Being American, I had to look up Tufty club which made it even more funny.
In another episode, can’t recall which one, he says he’s been around “since the devil was in short trousers.”

    1. I’m going to note these quotes with any others i receive and if i get enough i will create another video.

  3. In Coda, “If Bernie Waters has made a complaint, someone put him up to it. He hasn’t got the brains to blow his own wig off.”

  4. “his sort’s nowt a pound and shit’s tuppence as my old grandma would say.northern she was”
