ENDEAVOUR: Series 5, Episode 5, QUARTET. Scenes Missing From Some USA Versions.

Hello fellow Endeavourists and welcome the penultimate post on scenes missing or shortened from the fifth series of Endeavour.

A huge thank you must go to my American friend Kathleen who took the time and effort to go through the episodes and find the afore-mentioned scenes. Thank you Kathleen.

So before I move on can I ask you to subscribe to my website. I know it is a bore to ask but by subscribing you strengthen the website. Thank you.

Subscribing can be done in two ways;

The red arrow indicates where to subscribe if you don’t have a WordPress blog. The second arrow is where to subscribe if you DO have a WordPress blog. By subscribing you will be notified of any new updates.

Registering did subscribe you to the website only to the forum which has now been deleted.

To read my review and learn of the music, locations, literary references and what those strange British phrases mean in the Endeavour episode Quartet, read my review by clicking HERE.

I have as before split the video into two parts.

  1. Hi, Christopher!
    How nice to wake up to these missing scenes. Thank you so much!
    Now we know many more answers to baffling transitions. I look forward to trying to discern if Bagshot was truthful when she denied knowledge of Fennix. That doesn’t sound right to me.
    Also, aside, I found the Fennix guy much like George Waleggan in Poldark. Different actor, I know, but same voice and “ethics”.
    I wanted to let you know that when I gave my direct email to subscribe, it toggled to word press, where it only recognized the Gmail account attached to my phone. Not complaining, just informing.
    Good luck with University this fall! I went back for a master’s in special education in my late 50s. It was an adjustment, even for a lifelong learner!
    It’s great to finish something once started though. Wish you the best!

  2. Was just going through some of your past blog posts, clips, readings etc. What a thorough and interesting effort you have made. I think you and Longish are my top favorites for now and hope your college course is going well.

  3. I appreciate your site so much. I am American, and so enjoy Endeavour that I purchased a VCR that would play international dvd’s. As soon as each season is made available, I buy the British dvd from Amazon. Then I don’t have to wait several months for it to appear on our public television station. What first drew me to the series was the “feel” of the 50’s that I well remember, being 69 years old. Thanks, Chris – you make it even more enjoyable!
