Hello everyone and welcome to a new and rather different post.
I came across two interesting and very old books that had some lovely prints. So, I thought you guys (I use that word in its generic form not its gender specific sense) would like to also see them.
Where possible I have included photographs of how the place in the old photos, drawings etc looks now. Of course Oxford being Oxford it hasn’t changed that much which in itself is no bad thing.
Before I finish I have decided to delete the forum as it is not being used. Hopefully I can think of something to replace it. I do have some interesting ideas for the future not only on this blog but on other social media. Watch this space.
As always I ask that you subscribe to this blog. There are only two ways to do so;
The red arrow indicates where to subscribe if you don’t have a WordPress blog. The second arrow is where to subscribe if you DO have a WordPress blog. By subscribing you will be notified of any new updates.
Registering to the forum does not mean you are subscribed.
Sometimes I upload a video to Youtube but don’t write a post about it. For example I have uploaded audiobooks with Sherlock Holmes read by Stephen Fry and today I uploaded a BBC drama starring Roger Allam. Check out my Youtube channel by clicking here. So, it is worth subscribing not only to this website but my Youtube channel.
So, enjoy the video about Oxford now and then and take care of yourself.
What do you mean by delete the forum? Is this the forum?
No this is the comments section. The forum is mentioned at the top of the home page.
I found it after. Personally I like this comment section if it doesn’t go too far afield for you.
I generally prefer message board forums (fora?), but you do need a critical mass of users for them to work. Without that, there’s not much point so deleting it makes sense.
Anyway this is a lot easier than a separate forum if you can live with it. I was watching a different TV program the other day and all of a sudden there was Roger Allam being a not very nice person. I couldn’t finish watching it because of time.. but enjoyed knowing at least one actor…
Thank you for all your efforts put in to this.
Without a doubt these photos, drawing, paintings were beautiful. I was mesmerized. These pictures brought Oxford into reality.
