Hello everyone. Sadly, after the recent death of Tom Wilkinson, I have to report the death of David Soul (aged 80) who appeared in the Lewis episode, The Indelible Stain (Series 6, Episode 4). David was the first victim in the episode so did not appear for any great length of time. However, his performance was well liked and I for one am glad that he shone a light in the Morse Universe. My thoughts go out to his family and friends and I’m sure all fans of the Lewis series will join me that sentiment.
Below are the scenes that David appeared in. Thank you David for being a part of the Morse Universe and helping to make it a better place.
The David Soul, who starred as Sergeant Kenneth Richard “Hutch” Hutchinson in the TV series “Starsky & Hutch,” died Thursday , his wife announced on his website. He was 80.
Wow, so sad. He was great in his brief appearance. I remember that episode.
Has it been mentioned for viewing?
You might have mentioned that David Soul was once one of the stars of a hit TV series in America, Starsky and Hutch.
Why? What does that have to do with his appearance in the Lewis series. I also didn’t mention he was a singer and had a few top ten his. There are plenty of obituaries that mention these, but none will mention his appearance in the Lewis episode The Indelible Stain.
He also sang and released a few albums.
I know Ken, but that has nothing to do with his appearance in the Lewis series.
One of my favourite eps, lovely to see him in it, even if not for long.Onky watched it in summer, as son was teaching in Oxford and I dug out favourite eps.! Thoughts go to his family.x
