Hello Everyone and welcome to a new post. Sadly, I have to report the death of the wonderful British actor, Tom Wilkinson at the age of 75. Tom appeared in the Morse episode, The Infernal Serpent. Tom Wilkinson appeared in many great films; The Full Monty, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Valkyrie and many others.

For Morse fans he will always be remembered as Jake Normington. Friend of Morse and a Don at the fictional Beaufort Oxford University.

Below is all the scenes that Tom appeared in. Thank you to Tom from me and I’m sure all Morse fans for your wonderful contribution to the Morse Universe. Thank you for making the Morse Universe a better place. My thoughts go to Tom’s family and friends.

Up until a few years ago I was my mum's full time carer. She died in, 2020, of Covid. At the moment I am attempting to write a novel.

  1. Wilkinson was a consistently fine actor, in a variety of roles. One of his particularly effective portrayals was in the 2001 movie “In the Bedroom.” I certainly recomend it to everyone.
