Before I continue, in case you didn’t know, I have written a book on the Endeavour series. It has a colour (color) version, a B&W version and lastly a Kindle version.
The book is only available from Amazon and can be purchased on Amazon.com. Click HERE to visit the Amazon page.

Thank you.
Welcome all to a new post. My deepest apologies for neglecting my website for the past few months. Unfortunately, it’s been a tsunami of distractions. First writing the Endeavour book, then painting and decorating my flat, then I had a friend staying with me for a week and then finally, two weeks holiday and returning to writing my novel.
So, for all those who don’t do social media here is what you will have missed. ENJOY!
First up is photos from Roy Slater’s Twitter page. @royslat05399528

I’m sure I don’t have to name the episode.

Thanks to Masonic, a long time website subscriber, for pointing me in the direction of this video. Behind the scenes of the wedding in Endeavour episode, Exeunt.

More from an old external hard drive. As there is no info on the photos, I had to Google for info. Abigail Thaw looks wonderful, btw. Photos from 2008 when she appeared in the play Absent Friends. 2008, I believe.
—————————————————
Another from my recently found hard drive. Again no info. Clare Holman was born in 1964. She looks about 20-22 in the photo. So, best guess is that this photo is from 1984-86. Anyone have any more precise info?

Another from an old external hard drive. No info with the picture. I’m assuming this is from the British satire show, Spitting Image.

Amanda Hillwood as Doctor Grayling Russell in the Inspector Morse series. These pictures taken as publicity shots for the episode, The Secret of Bay 5B.
———————————————
I’m not sure which episode was being filmed when this photo was taken. It looks like it was taken at Oxford Train Station during set up and before a wardrobe fitting. I’m thinking it’s a set up for The Secret of Bay 5B when Lewis drops off Morse when he decides to visit the high class prostitute in London.

I believe this was taken during filming of the TV film, The Life and Death of King John.

Chris, thanks so much for this and for keeping in mind those of us who are not on social media. ( I imagine there are very few of us who are holdouts but so considerate of you to remember us). These are wonderful and thanks to Masonic for that finding that wonderful video! I will miss the Morse Universe but glad I have all the DVD’s.
You’re very welcome, Kathleen. Personally, I wouldn’t be on the likes of Facebook and Twitter if it wasn’t for this website and my need to advertise it.
Fabulous photos which would otherwise be lost, Richard Briers was superb in his role as Bream, as a true professional, he obviously thought and prepared for the role and this is why in the finished product it is so good.
Morse attracted many of our superb actors to the episodes, also featuring younger actors who would go on to greater things.
We have been fortunate to have the legacy of the efforts of cast, crew and writers to enjoy. Without those behind the lens, we would not have what is in front of the lens.
Our nation has and continues to produce some of the greatest actors and crew in the world, my parents both met in the television industry and enjoyed part of the golden era of the 60’s onwards.
