With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new post. I received this video from a friend which came in the form of a VHS tape. So, I had it converted into a playable video on my computer. It is a lovely video which lasts around 28 minutes.

The video takes you on a journey around Oxford through the eyes of Inspector Morse, also observing some places rarely seen by the tourist. Join Colin Dexter and Brian Redhead in the Eagle and Child Public House in St Giles’ and then go on to explore the City, University and countryside, all with their own fascinating history. The video is lively and informative, not just for fans of the Morse books and television series, but also provides a unique guide to the City, its University and the surrounding area.

Colin Dexter the writer of the 13 Inspector Morse books. Born: 29 September 1930, Stamford
Died: 21 March 2017, Oxford.
Brian Redhead was a presenter for the BBC Radio 4 Today programme. Sadly Brian died the year after this video was recorded.

Enjoy.

Up until a few years ago I was my mum's full time carer. She died in, 2020, of Covid. At the moment I am attempting to write a novel.

  1. Hi Chris. Sorry to say, it’s unlikely I will be joining you all for the upcoming four films. As I previously mentioned, because I’m a great fan of different sports, I haven’t found the time to watch that many movies. Anyway, hope you enjoy the film season and that you keep cool during this heatwave. I’ll see you all again for the Lewis series. Thanks and take care.
