I have started my own Facebook page. It is primarily an extension of this website. I decided to start the Facebook page as there has been times when I have an update to a review post or some interesting news or information but it was all to small to make into a full blown post here on my website. So, come and join and keep up-to-date with all that happens in the Morse universe.

I would like to say a huge thank you to those who have become Patrons of the site and also a huge thank you to those who have made donations. What do I mean by Patrons?

What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

Hello everyone. I hope this post finds you all well, mentally as well as physically. Below, are a few posts I put on my FB and Twitter for those who are not part of those social media websites. It is not a long post but I hope you enjoy it.

A big thank you to Simon who reliably identified the pub beer garden in the Morse episode, The Last Enemy. Morse is seen having a drink with Carol Sharp (Sian Thomas) at 36 minutes and at the end of the episode he has a drink with Grayling Russell (Amanda Hillwood). It is the rear of the Boat Inn, Thrupp. In the episode we see Lewis and Morse enter the pub but I wasn’t aware that the pub had a beer garden at that time.

Last night during my Morse stream we watched the dancing Lewis scene from Death of the Self. This morning I rewatched it because something had caught my eye last night. Is this Barrington Pheloung playing the guitar? I think it is. I have never noticed it before. What do you think? Barrington composed the Morse and Lewis themes as well as composing all the music for the Morse and Lewis series and composed almost all the music for the Endeavour series.

BBC Oxford Oxford’s St Mary’s College was founded in 1435, but was lost in time… until now!

Simon Harrison who played Ronnie Box in the Endeavour series is to star in the third series of His Dark Materials.

————————————————–

Thanks to Lesley, who noticed a connection between the Endeavour episode Sway (Series 2, Episode 3) and the Morse episode Absolute Conviction (Series 6, Episode 4). In the Sway episode the glamorous sales assistant, Gloria Deeks mentions that her husband is in Farnleigh Prison. Farnleigh Prison is where the three fraudsters are locked up in the Morse episode.

Well that’s all for now. Take care and watch out for a new post very soon.
