For Those Who Are Not On Facebook, Twitter or Twitch, Here Are Posts You May Have Missed.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new post.

Because I know many of you are not members of Facebook, Twitter or Twitch and so have missed some posts I published on the afore mentioned social media sites, here are those posts and videos. Enjoy

I hope you enjoy the following posts but before you scroll down please consider subscribing to my website. It’s very easy to do.

Subscribing to this website can be done in two ways.

If you have a WordPress account then click the ‘following’ button. If you don’t have a WordPress account then enter your email and click the subscribe button. Entering the email only means subscribing to my website you will NOT be creating a WordPress account. (WordPress are the company that I pay to use their platform).

First up is a gif I created for a friend.

Next up is a video I created to end my Twitch streams with.

Next up is a trailer I created to promote series six of Endeavour for my Twitch stream.

Here is a favourite scene of mine from the Lewis series.

The above scene is from the episode, Dark Matter.

Nancy Meisner is a new subscriber to my website and has been doing some wonderful work on identifying artwork I couldn’t. In particular Nancy has been identifying opera posters that are in Morse’s home or office. Here are some of those posters. They are works of art in themselves. In the still where Morse is wearing a blue shirt we can see a poster on the wall behind him to his left. This is from the episode Day of the Devil.
The poster is “The Royal Opera I Puritani Bellini” from The Royal Opera House, by David Scheinmann photographers. This poster is currently in storage at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Up next is a poster from the Deadly Slumber episode and again in Morse’s office. He is wearing a blue suit and the poster can be seen on the wall behind him. This poster is a Royal Opera House poster entitled The Royal Opera a Celebration of Mozart and is currently stored at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
In the episode Fat Chance a Welsh National Opera poster by Robert Holder 1989 on wall in Morse’s police office. You can see the poster behind Lewis’s left shoulder. The same poster turns up in Morse’s home in the episode Masonic Mysteries. See the still with Lewis walking up the stairs in Morse’s home.

Here is my intro to my Twitch streams.

I hope you enjoyed all of the above.

You don’t have to join Twitch to watch but if you do join (it’s free) it has only the minimal amount of signing up protocol to go through and this will allow you to chat to me and everybody else.

Not only can you enjoy watching the episode but you can chat (via text box) with other Endeavour fans. Some people who have watched the episodes on the live stream have said that they have not only learned more about the episodes but come to appreciate episodes they had previously disliked.

Please join me and many others to watch this great episode on the social media platform, (one of the biggest in the world) TWITCH and watch the episode on a live stream. Twitch is FREE to join and FREE to watch.

For those not in the know in regard to Twitch, when I write ‘watch and chat’ the chat is via a text window so there is no actual talking over the episode.

To ‘chat’ (this means to type in the chat window that runs alongside the video) you need to register but that is all rather simple. It’s only a matter of choosing a screen name and entering your email address.

So, over the next weeks I am hoping to live stream all 30 of the Endeavour episodes on Twitch. Twitch is one of the biggest social media sites in the world which allows people to live stream their various activities.

I would like to say a huge thank you to those who have become Patrons of the site and also a huge thank you to those who have made donations. What do I mean by Patrons?

What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

I have started my own Facebook page. It is primarily an extension of this website. I decided to start the Facebook page as there has been times when I have an update to a review post or some interesting news or information but it was all to small to make into a full blown post here on my website. So, come and join and keep up-to-date with all that happens in the Morse universe.

I hope to see many of you there for a fun time at what has become known as the Sunday Night Endeavour Club.

  1. This post is fabulous, Chris, especially the trailer for Season 6. Thank you for putting this on your website as I don’t subscribe to Facebook or Twitter. The clips, the music, the way you put it all together is just perfect.

  2. Dear Chris, your videos, and picks are spot on. Thank you for sharing with your ‘skalkywags’.

      1. Thanks friend. How’s your work going? I visit my father this afternoon at his Veteran’s Centre home.

      2. It did, he may use mixed up speech, but inside, he’s still the loving Dad I know. It shows in his acceptance of my hugs.

  3. Dear Chris,
Just discovered your site. It must be very time-consuming. I appreciate your efforts. Your details are excellent. I’ve watched all of Morse and Lewis and ENDEAVOUR about 20-30 times. Can’t get enough. Not sure if you mentioned Tony Donn in Morse and Endeavour. Tony (Anthony)Donn died in Morse 3/3 Deceived by Flight. Tony Donn character is in Endeavour 3/1 Ride.
Set me straight if you have time.
    Thanks

    1. Hi Ana, welcome to my website. Anthony Don is mentioned in my reviews of the relevant episodes.
