You don’t have to join Twitch to watch but if you do join (it’s free) it has only the minimal amount of signing up protocol to go through and this will allow you to chat to me and everybody else.
Not only can you enjoy watching the episode but you can chat (via text box) with other Lewis fans. Some people who have watched the episodes on the live stream have said that they have not only learned more about the episodes but come to appreciate episodes they had previously disliked.
Please join me and many others to watch this great episode on the social media platform, (one of the biggest in the world) TWITCH and watch the episode on a live stream. Twitch is FREE to join and FREE to watch.

For those not in the know in regard to Twitch, when I write ‘watch and chat’ the chat is via a text window so there is no actual talking over the episode.
To ‘chat’ (this means to type in the chat window that runs alongside the video) you need to register but that is all rather simple. It’s only a matter of choosing a screen name and entering your email address.
So, over the next weeks I am hoping to live stream all 33 of the Lewis episodes on Twitch. Twitch is one of the biggest social media sites in the world which allows people to live stream their various activities.
I would like to say a huge thank you to those who have become Patrons of the site and also a huge thank you to those who have made donations. What do I mean by Patrons?
What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.
With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.
Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

I hope to see many of you there for a fun time at what has become known as the Sunday Night Morse Club.
Hi Chris. I am very frustrated and annoyed that I cannot join you all tonight, to watch the tremendous “The Way Through the Woods”, Morse episode. Unfortunately, the plumbing difficulties I referred to on Wednesday, during “The Mystery of Morse”, we are still up to our eyes in. There is a leak under the bath, which is falling into our kitchen, below. Nevertheless, we have a plumber booked for today, and hopefully the problems will be rectified. He has not arrived yet, but he is on his way. However, I will need to be at hand, while he is at our property, and the job could take several hours. Hence, I am very sorry, I will not be free for tonight’s Twitch streaming.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Chris. Thanks for all your hard work on this website, and the excellent Twitch sessions you have hosted, across these past few months. It is very much appreciated.
I would also like to wish all of your good Twitch followers, Chris, a very Happy Christmas, and a much brighter New Year. i’ve had many fascinating discussions with them, in recent months, on all things related to Morse, and I look forward to more next year. Thank you Chris, and that’s all for now.
So sorry to read you are still having problems. We all missed your company and input tonight. Tuesday, 22nd December at 7pm GMT we are having a discussion on the Lewis series as a whole. Then on Sunday the 27th I will be streaming the documentary, The John Thaw Story. Hope to dee you.
Dear James, we all wish you well today and understand plumbing issues demand immediate attention. You will be missed by all of Chris’ Twitch Club’s “usual suspects”. We send happy holiday greetings to you and your family and look forward to your interesting and funny thoughts on all things Morse-Lewis-Endeavour in the new year. Please take good care until we “see” you again.
With joy,
Carolyn from Berkeley
Thank you very much for those kind and considerate words, Chris and Carolyn. I was hoping the plumbing issues could finally be solved last night, but unfortunately, the plumber has had to come back today, that is Monday morning, to finish the job. Another problem that has arisen, interconnected with the former, is that the leaking water has seeped under the new lino, we had fitted on the bathroom floor. Hence, the new lino will have to be removed to allow the floorboards to dry. Anyway, the main plumbing issues should be rectified soon, and we can have an operating bathroom through the Christmas period.
Thanks Chris, for telling me about the two Twitch sessions coming up over the next few days, before and just after Christmas, and I will do my best to join you all, but I cannot absolutely promise, that I will be able to.
I wish the both of you, Chris and Carolyn, and your families, a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and healthier New Year.
Just to make myself clearer, and to avoid any confusion to a reader of this web page, I should have said in my comment, above, I would like to wish you and your family, Chris, a Merry Christmas in Scotland. I would also like to wish Carolyn and her family, a Merry Christmas in Berkeley, California. Anyway, I expect you knew what I meant. Finally, let’s all hope for a happier and healthier New Year in 2021.
I’m looking for the Way Through the Woods review. My local (San Francisco) public television station is airing this episode for the umpteenth time. I have a vague notion that I’ve watched it twice; I’m debating whether to watch it again. Your reviews show me facets that I rarely pick up, such as the changing art in “Who Killed Harry Field?” (one of the best episodes). Although I didn’t agree with the review of Absolute Conviction, which also has a fresh story line and a lot of space in the story. I could watch both of these a few more times. Alas, I find Lewis and Endeavour worthwhile but disappointing. I think they should stop the Endeavour series while they’re…behind.
Carol a review of The Way Through the Woods is my next post which I am working on at the moment. Hopefully it will be ready and posted by the end of the week.
