After spending 18 months watching and re watching the Lewis series for my book I still love this series and many of the episodes are some of my favourites in the Morse Universe. You don’t have to join Twitch to watch but if you do join (it’s free) it has only the minimal amount of signing up protocol to go through and this will allow you to chat to me and everybody else.

For those not in the know in regard to Twitch, when I write ‘watch and chat’ the chat is via a text window so there is no actual talking over the episode.
To ‘chat’ (this means to type in the chat window that runs alongside the video) you need to register but that is all rather simple. It’s only a matter of choosing a screen name and entering your email address.
So, over the next weeks I am hoping to live stream all 33 of the Lewis episodes on Twitch. Twitch is one of the biggest social media sites in the world which allows people to live stream their various activities.

Hi Chris. I forgot to mention something during tonight’s “Inspecting Lewis”, on this episode. I was too busy thinking up tenuous connections or links, that must have been the problem!! I just wondered how early Anna Chancellor’s character, Judith Suskin, knew that Donald Voss, (who was now teaching her daughter) was her former boyfriend and IRA commander. She perhaps hadn’t seen him for over twenty years, and he, as well as herself, both now had psuedoynms, with MI5 having helped them change their identities. I suppose, even if she had quickly realised who he was, she wouldn’t neceesarily have known he was the murderer. In addition, if she had notified the police sooner about his identity, she would then have had to have revealed her changed identity as well, and of course it was all an Official Secret, to keep both of them, secure and safe. Is my thinking along the right lines, in what I have just said?
It’s possible she recognised Voss before the events of the episode. During the soiree for Gifted Children, Judith mentions that her and Voss had met at Fresher’s Week. Even after twenty years she is sure to have recognised him. You’re right regarding not revealing who Voss was as that would have outed herself.

I have watched the repeat of “Inspecting Lewis” on “Wild Justice”, which I unfortunately missed. I still have a couple of questions to ask you, regarding that episode, but I will leave them for now, as I know you are always very busy, and I don’t want to demand too much from you.
Sorry, I have just noticed two typing errors in my above comments. The word “pseudonym”, I mistakenly spelt wrongly, with the “e” and “u”, the wrong way round. I also accidentally spelt wrongly, the word, “necessarily”, with two E’s next to each other, rather than the correct, two S’s.
