How To Become A Patreon And Support My Website.

Hello everyone.

As many of you will know many of my posts, especially those involving a comprehensive review, can take more than 30 hours. I feel it has come to the point that I need financial help to allow more time and opportunity to not only pay for my site but to help me continue to bring quality posts and videos.  It’s because of this that I decided to set up a Patreon account.

I did consider making my website subscription only but decided that it wasn’t fair to force people to pay for entrance to my site. So, the next best solution was to use Patroen. What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription. With enough support I am hoping to create two posts a week.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

Here is my Patreon account where you can read more about it, https://www.patreon.com/morseandlewisandendeavour

Thank you for all your support.

After having looked after my mum for some 11 years she is now unfortunately in a nursing home. I'm afraid her dementia worsened as did her physical capabilities. So, for the first time in 21 years I find myself no longer caring for anyone. Apart from my mum I was also a single parent to two children and also looked after my dad who had Alzheimers, (he died in 2005). So, I have decided to return to University to try and get another degree this time in English Literature. (My other degree I got some 30 years ago is one in Ecological Science). After a year at college I have passed all grades and now will start Edinburgh University in September 2019. A busy time ahead made even busier by my writing a book on the TV series, Lewis.
