Thank you.

Sometime ago there was a comment on the Inspector Morse Facebook page on Inspector Morse’s (John Thaw) eating habits. So, I decided to investigate.

I re-uploaded this video to Youtube so I thought I would create a new post. It may be of interest to those who are new to my website or those who have not seen it.

I had to scan all 33 episodes (close to 55 hours) very quickly but I think I managed to collect all the eating scenes contained within the Morse series. In the Promised Land episode Lewis does tell Morse he needs to collect his own food to cook it on the barbie but he is stopped before he collects anything.

So, enjoy the video and let me know what you think.

The second re-upload is a conversation between the crime writer P.D. James and Colin Dexter. Again I have just re-uploaded this to Youtube.

Special footage celebrating the launch of Talking about Detective Fiction by PD James, the latest Bodleian Library publication dated 2009 with Colin Dexter in conversation with the crime writer P.D. James.

One of The Bodleian Libraries (BODcasts) on which Colin Dexter interviews the crime writer P.D James about her book ‘Talking about Detective Fiction’ in 2009.
P.D. James is known for creating the character, Adam Dalgliesh.

The video is 13 minutes and 14 seconds. Enjoy.

  1. I would love to see a compilation of all Thursday’s (I love his character) sayings, I.e. “I’ll have your bollocks for a key fob” or “more under my hat than nits. “

    1. Kathleen that is a great idea for a video and a post. I will start working on that in the near future.
