Hello fellow Endeavourists and welcome to my fourth post on the subject of missing scenes from some of the USA versions. There are also scenes in the US that were shortened.

Mr. Pendergast, respectfully, I think that your view of Claudine is antiquated to say the least. If Claudine were a man, you’d have thought that he was an admirable playboy. Claudine was basically a modern woman. Alluding to the fact that she acted like a prostitute was churlish. Just my opinion, though.

I offer Claudine as a loose interpretation of the diminutive French war photographer Catherine Leroy, who made here name in the world by covering the Vietnam War.
