Hello fellow Endeavourists and welcome to my review of the fourth episode of the fifth series. To read afore-mentioned review click HERE.

I would ask that you also read the many comments at the end of the post as this will deter duplication of any point you may have about my review or the episode. But please feel free to write a comment on this post if the spirit moves you.

I know I am repeating myself but I will never tire of writing that I am so grateful for the continued support so many of you give me be it via comments, emails or donations. To write that your support helped me get past a recent difficult time in my life would be an understatement. Thank you all so much.

  1. I adored this episode, the best for this season so far…..we got to see Morse smile while in HIS SHEETS….what could be better…will never happen again ….

  2. I watched this one again last night. It *is* hokey and absurdly melodramatic, but well-acted, and the final scene between Sam and Fred gets me every time. Actor Jack Bannon looks so much older in PENNYWORTH, where he comes off as a young Fred Thursday. The series itself is way over-the-top, but Bannon oozes charisma.
