Endeavour: The Murdered, Murderers and their Methods.

Hi Endeavourists and welcome to my new post. In a land far, far away called the past I wrote a post on the murders and methods (also deaths not murders) used by the murderers in the original Morse series (click here to read that post). In light of the fifth series starting soon I decided it was about time I did the same for the Endeavour series. What about the Lewis series I hear you cry. Well, I am writing a book on the Lewis series so all those details will be in that.

There will of course be HUGE SPOILERS in this post.

  1. This article is just fantastic. Your attention to detail, ability to compile the informations gathered, and expertise to organize & extract the secondary conclusions from them are just brilliant. And, the time & effort you’ve put in… THANK YOU.

    1. Hear hear Jean! Such a lot of work must go into these posts.

I wonder though about the comment that we don’t see Susan’s father in the Lazaretto episode – I had thought that I spotted his wife sat by the bedside of a man in one of the long camera ‘pans’ along the ward, but don’t have access to the episode to re-watch it. Although in hindsight, I suppose he would have been on a different ward?

Anyway, another great post which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Christopher, will you be doing a review of the new series 5 episodes?

      1. Hi Karen. Thank you for your kind words. Regarding, reviewing the series 5 episodes; yes I will. I am actual working on the first episode at this moment in time. It will be a review plus the music, locations and literary references etc.

      2. Hurrah! So glad to hear you’ll be writing a review etc; you always mention things I’d missed first time around – one of the reasons I’ve recorded them this time around, so I can go back after your post and rewatch!
