Trevor Byfield who appeared in the Inspector Morse episode Who Killed Harry Field as the titular character died on the 11th October 2017. Trevor also appeared in the Lewis episode Counter Culture Blues as Bone.

The best obituary I can do for Trevor is to show him in action. Sadly his two rules were all too brief. Thank you Trevor for bringing enjoyment to the Morse Universe.

I love your suggestions, and that’s just what I’m going to do this evening. Who Killed Harry Field is one of my favorite Morse episodes, and CCB is one of my top five Lewis eps. I had mentioned to the Facebook group just a couple weeks ago that he was in a New Tricks show I was watching.
He always surprised and could deceive artfully with those eyes,R.I.P.
Just realised this, of course he was also in the brilliant Motorway Episode of One Foot in the Grave and also had a great Cameo in Only Fools and Horses.

Hi, this was my dads cousin. He lost contact a couple of years ago. Dont suppose anyone has any contact details or next of kin details? Any woukd be appreciated. He was such a funny guy, he visited my dad in hospital just after he was on Golden eye. Thanks Mark.
