Two errors have crept in. First is 21 down. It should read ‘troubled’. Secondly, is 11 across it should be ‘can’t’ not ‘can’r’.
Hello and welcome to the second of an occasional series of Morse/Lewis/Endeavour related crosswords. I am still working on a proper gridded crossword but good heavens it is difficult when one is working in a narrow genre. But I will keep trying.
This time there are no spaces between any words and I have included at the end of each clue how many letters the answer consists of.
Below I have included a PDF version of the crossword as this may be easier to print out.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy it. I know from comments that many people do not like crosswords especially cryptic crosswords, so the next one will have straight forward clues with no cryptic element. Or is it just all crosswords that people don’t like, 🙂 Anyway, have fun and take care.
I just saw this online. I can just hear Morse responding to the story. ;<) http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/a-plagiarism-scandal-is-unfolding-in-the-crossword-world/?ex_cid=story-facebook
I love all crosswords – just not great at them. The PDF is very helpful. Thank you.
I’m troubled by ‘trobled’ in 21 down, and I can’t figure out ‘can’r’ in 11 across. Does ‘do’ in 17 down help? Typos or clues?
Sorry, it should be ‘trouble’ and ‘can’t’.
Absolutely lost in this one. Found half of the words and not sure of some of them. And the rest, absolute mysteries. Hope you’ll explain how they work or maybe the answer will be clear enough to explain.
