What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home

Hello everyone and welcome to a new post. Well, it’s been 35 years since the first episode of Morse was broadcast on TV; Dead of Jericho, 6th January 1987.

BBC Radio Oxford are celebrating that event. This morning BBC Oxford interviewed both David Bishop, author of The Complete Inspector Morse and Abigail Thaw, daughter of John Thaw and plays Dorothea Frazil in the Endeavour series.

Enjoy.

Up until a few years ago I was my mum's full time carer. She died in, 2020, of Covid. At the moment I am attempting to write a novel.

  1. Thanks for this video. I was surprised when Bishop said his favorite episode was The Wench is Dead because for me that is my least favorite and I always thought not up to par with the rest of the wonderful episodes. But as you are wont to say, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion!

  2. Thanks, Chris. Amazing to me that the Endeavour series Thaw tie-ins were not planned but were written because she asked to be considered for a walk-on while being asked for casting advice. Incredible.

    1. You’re welcome Terry. Yes, I was under the impression that Russell always had her in mind to be part of the series.
