LEWIS: Behind the scene photos from the Lewis episode, EXPIATION.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. I’m not too bad. I’ve received my mother’s ashes so I now have to organise a time when I, my brother and my kids can set my plan in motion for the interment of mum’s ashes.

I have been in contact with Ken Coombs who was Kevin Whately’s stand in during the Lewis series.

Here are six photo’s from the Expiation episode, series one, episode, three.

Here is what Ken wrote about the photos.

I am sending you some photos from the first episode of Lewis I worked on , “Expiation ”

“The photos from The Pitt River Museum are from the climax of the film. The interiors up to the narrow stairs of the tower were filmed in Oxford. The interior room with the children and the reverse was done at a studio in West London with Green Screen. The shots of Oxford are where Lewis & Hathaway walk back to the police station after the first meeting with La Plassiter in his rooms. The final photo is of Dorney Court, Windsor which was used for the interior shots of La Plassiter’s rooms.”

Enjoy. All photographs are the copyright of Ken Coombs.

Thank you Ken for giving us a glimpse behind the scenes. Ken has said that the next behind the scenes photos will be from the episode, And the Moonbeams Kiss the Sea.

I decided to start the Facebook page as there has been times when I have an update to a review post or some interesting news or information but it was all to small to make into a full blown post here on my website. So, come and join and keep up-to-date with all that happens in the Morse universe.

What is Patreon? Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid. It’s a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, with ways for artists to build relationships with their subscribers, or “patrons”.

With Patreon you set up how much you wish to pay monthly. There are three tiers, $5, $10 and $15. It’s like paying for a magazine subscription.

Patreon primarily uses Paypal which is easy to join and a safe way to send money. https://www.paypal.com/uk/home
