Hello Endeavourists in the USA who watched the second episode on Sunday 23th June and Australia who watched the second episode of the sixth series on the 14th June.
The link below is my review of the episode APOLLO. My review of course includes information on locations, music (though some music may be different to what was used in the US and Australia due to copyright), literary references and much, much more.
If anyone is aware of any scenes missing from the US broadcast that were in the UK version please let me know and I will create a post with the missing scenes.

Thanks Chris. We thought this episode was a bit boring and not hanging together. And I am not 100% sure but I think we are missing the Bright/Thursday conversation in our PBS broadcast.

And sorry, why do people make long conversations when they have a gun pointed at someone? And they show up with a tape recorder and it stops her from shooting?
It reminded me of Charlie’s Angels… I’m going to count to three before I shoot….
In the version of Apollo that we watched last night on Masterpiece, PBS edited out several scenes, including the pivotal one where Morse visits Joan in her office to inquire about Flora Humbolt. Later in the episode, upon running into Morse again, she mentions the meeting. Thinking I’d missed something, I ran through the entire show and confirmed that their rather heated exchange was completely removed. Shame on PBS. Messing with another network’s finished product is unconscionable — made even worse by the fact that we’ve all seen still photos of the scene and the actors refer to it in their episode interviews.
Last year pbs broadcast cut scenes but the downloads from Amazon prime were the full episodes. Not this year.
I thought that the white on white decor in van Horne’s office was reminiscent of the film ‘The Knack… and How to Get It’ which also starred Rita Tushingham.
