Hello everyone and welcome to another new post. Sorry it is so short but when I got hold of this article I knew someone would find it interesting. The article is from the British TV guide, Radio Times, 23rd to 29th February 2008. With the afore-mentioned dates that would mean that British television was showing the second series. The second series included the episodes, And the Moonbeams Kiss the Sea (one of my all time favourite Lewis episodes), Music to Die For, Life Born of Fire and The Great and the Good.

Of course it is – the screenplay is by Alan Plater – who wrote screenplay Z Cars (golden oldies will remember),, A very British Coup (could still be prophetic in these troubled times) The Fortunes of War and the wonderful Beiderbecke trilogy

I have just watched the Joan Hickson “Miss Marple” – “A Murder is Announced”, referred to in the last article above, and Sergeant Fletcher is essentially Lewis in a waistcoat.
One of my local digital stations is now running Morse and Lewis episodes from the start. I’m in for some good late-night viewing on the PVR.
