ENDEAVOUR: ALL DVD EXTRAS.

Hello Endeavourists. I hope this post doesn’t find you feeling strange but bright instead and looking forward to thursday. 😉

Below are all the DVD extras for all four series. Unfortunately the series five DVDs did not contain any extras. But here we have about 2 hours of extras. I have done this as I know that some people cannot afford the DVDs and I am not sure if other countries get these extras.

I would urge everyone to buy the DVDs to support further series of Endeavour. DVD numbers are not just a good income for ITV and mammoth but are also a good barometer for ITV and Mammoth productions in relation to how popular the series is. Buying the Morse and Lewis series is also helpful but in a more indirect way.

If we want a Hathaway series to continue the Morse universe then buying the Endeavour, Morse and Lewis DVDs will help focus ITV’s collective mind.

So, lecture over and onto the extras.  Remember to subscribe, Please enjoy and remember there will be SPOILERS.

  1. Thank you so much for you site and blog. Endeavour is the one series I have bought all the DVD’s from as soon as they are available in the US. For one thing, I don’t like that PBS edits at least 5 minutes out of each episode here in the US. And I want to be able to watch them over again. I’m not as critical of series 5 as I find you and others are- but I am enjoying your reviews that I read after I view the episode. I have episodes 5 and 6 left to view- it’s like I’m putting it off because I don’t want the series to end.
    Thank you again!

  2. Chris, This is great. I bought the DVD set of Insp. Morse from UK. It’s tricky to find a legitimate one as I learned when I bought a bootlegged one with very poor quality. Thankfully I bought it from Amazon so I returned it and got the one from ITV. In this set the very last disc is one called Rest in Peace. It features Superintendent Strange talking about Morse and his relationship with Lewis after Morse’s death. It includes excerpts from some of the episodes. Was this ever shown in UK, perhaps as a special? I would never have gotten that anywhere else. I loved it.

    1. Hi Kathleen. I have seen the piece with James Grout talking about Morse but I’m not sure if it was on television or Youtube.
