Welcome Morsonians to the first of a new weekly blog post on what has been happening in the world of Morse in the past week. With so many online media outlets I thought it might be worthwhile putting all the Morse/Lewis/Endeavour news in one place. Also many people don’t access Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc so I thought this would help those who don’t access any or only some of the many media outlets.
If you come across anything that you think would be worth mentioning to other Morse fans then contact me using the contact sheet at the top of the page.A friend related to me an interesting fact about the name Frazil as in Abigail Thaw’s role as Dorothea Frazil in the Endeavour series. Dictionary definition for FRAZIL : soft or amorphous ice formed by the accumulation of ice crystals in water that is too turbulent to freeze solid. Look at the character name again in this form; D. Frazil = De Ice = A. Thaw. One of writer Russell Lewis’s ‘in jokes’?

The above was posted on September 7th. At the moment I am not sure what acting role he is referring to. I have written to him to ask what he is rehearsing for.

So, that is all for now. A short post but hopefully some of you will find it of interest. Hopefully I will be able to keep up a weekly bulletin but it will of course depend on how much new information is available from week to week. Take care everyone.
I have a been a fan of Inspector Morse since the series first aired on US public television in the 1990s. I have enjoyed Inspector Lewis and Endeavor as well. Thank you for your excellent work. I look forward to future posts.
